(Yein's POV)
I stand in front of Jiyong's doorstep.
Another day...but not a lot of progress...
I sigh as I lift my finger to press the doorbell.
"What are you hiding?"
I gasp as I turn around swiftly.
It was my friends.
SeolA looks at me suspisiously.
"why are you always in such a hurry after school?" she says as she takes a step closer.
I press my back against the door.
"...what? I'm not hiding anything." I say my throat dry.
"Then why are you at Jiyong's house...and why is he barely coming to school?" Daesung says as he stares at me.
"...suspicious." Taeyang says, his gaze fixed on his book.
They all approach me even closer.
"look guys-"
the door opens.
I stumble to the sudden force, but gain balance as baby-faced man peeks through the crack of the door.
"Annyeonghaseyo!!!" Daesung and SeolA shout.
They all begin to enter without baby faced man's permission.
"Guys stop!" I yell, blocking them from coming up the door.
"are you guys secretly doing something without us?" SeolA pouts.
I shake my head.
SeolA: "Is he sick?"
Yein: "....well..."
Daesung: "Is he going through something hard?"
Yein: "....um...."
SeolA: "is it effecting your relationship to a whole different level??"
Yein: "......"
SeolA snaps her fingers.
"I got it."
I gulp.
"what?"
She looks at me secretly.
"It makes perfect sense in Jiyong's wild animal world..." she says nodding her head.
She leans into my ear.
"did you guys....'mate?' ''
My eye grow wide.
"You-"
"if not, then move aside." SeolA says, pushing me away.
I stumble as they make their way up to the stairs.
I rush up the stairs myself, holding onto the door of Jiyong's room.
"...please....don't." I say desperately.
They stare at me confused.
The door I was holding starts to make noises, the sound of someone clawing at the door, and growls.
I close my eyes.
Too late.
As I open them, they all stare at me with curiosity, fear, but mostly
worry.
I look down.
"...just leave guys."
There was a small silence, and I thought they left,
