This letter was originally planned for Crow's Feathers chapter 43. I didn't put it into the story, because it wasn't really necessary, but I posted it here instead in my little letter section. If you want to read Crow's Feathers before this, then go ahead, though I don't think this letter contains much spoilers.

I’m sorry for what I‘m about to do. You probably won’t understand.
By the time you read this I will be long gone.
Please know I’m not doing this out of betrayal. I’m not turning my back on you. I will come back.
But this is something I have to do. I need to. Or I’ll never find peace.
It’s not just me being stubborn. It might be too late already, but I have to try.
I made a promise and I can not break it. I will not break it.
I know you’ll be angry, but I hope you can forgive me one day.
I wish I could tell you my reasons.
