Dive In

Go inside a book

Let someone else be fingers that turn the page

Or the eyes that process the words

I am happy to be a book

From the outside you know there's a story

Know there's a secret waiting to be told

Yet inside the secrets are revealed

Even though it is thrown and tossed

Even though coffee is sometimes spilt on it

The secrets and answers are not revealed

I have seen images flash before my eyes

So there must be more than meets the eye

A knight racing to save his princess

A lover racing to get his love

A reader getting lost in the story

Hope you like it. Thanks for reading.
