It's summer in the land of the empire state, there are two persons who used to be together, Roland, the sporty guy who used to think that he's the most attractive guy on their place, and Amanda, the scholastic woman who is very well known in their school as their mathematician. In fact, she's their school's team leader in scholastic decathlon. Even though that they're totally different in things, except in one thing, they love each other, the problem with Roland is that he's a wealthy guy while Amanda is just poor. Roland's parents doesn't allow him to have a girlfriend who's just poor like Amanda, that's why they just decided to be bestfriends. In that way, they could have fun together on Roland's home until one night, Roland is just alone in their house, he asked Amanda to go to their house, Amanda get through there immediately, they watched movies all night long, until in the middle of midnight, since Amanda wasn't allowed to get out of Roland's house, an unfortunate thing happened, it actually started with a kiss, after it, the unexpected thing happened. They slept together on one bed, naked. After that night, Roland's parents came back, luckily, Amanda already get out of there as his parent's went back to Roland's house.Amanda is still attending school until one night,Amanda became sick. On the other day, she went to the doctor with her mother and they figured it out that Amanda is pregnant. Amanda didn't told to her mom that it's Roland who will be the father, neither Roland doesn't. Roland is wondering why Amanda isn't even attending classes. He went to Amanda's house after a week she isn't attending classes, he knocked the door but no one opened it, he said "Amanda, it's me, Roland?", still, noone opened it. Roland noticed that the door isn't locked so he opened it, He looked for Amanda in her room but he didn't seen her, He went to the kitchen and he noticed that there are bloods in the floor, it was through the bathroom, he went to the bath room and he seen Amanda fainted in the bathtub, he immediately called for the ambulance and he followed Amanda through the hospital, Roland talked to the doctor with pleasing
"What happened to Amanda?" Roland asked with tears
"She attempted to commit suicide, her brain is clotting and she have to be under operation immeadiately or she'll die." The doctor sadly answered
"Will she going to be alright after the surgery?" Roland asked screamly
"We can't assure it to you boy, the operation will be sensitive because she's pregnant. but we'll do everything we can to make the surgery successful" The doctor answered with hope
"She's pregnant?" Roland being shocked
"Yes,kid." The doctor answered
"Do the surgery right now, I'll pay the bills for her." Roland commanded the doctor in a hurry
While the operation is ongoing,Roland went out of the hospital, crying. He called Amanda's mom, who was in office that time and told what happened to her daughter. Amanda's mom was shocked of what happened to her daughter. She immeadiately packed her things in went to the hospital, she seen Roland sitting in the corner, crying. "Where's Amanda?", she asked. Roland pointed out the operating room. She go there but she can't enter because the operation is still not finished. The surgery lasted for 2 hours, Amana survived but her child didn't. Amanda is still unconscious but she was now stable, the doctor told to Roland and to Amanda's mother. They transferred Amanda into a private room so that she can take some rest, Amanda's mom and Roland was there all night long. As the sun rises, Amanda waked up and she just seen Roland sitting beside her. Roland told her that her child died. Amanda cried while hugging Roland and said "I'm so sorry, it's all my fault, because of my carelessness, she died". "Don't say sorry, I should be the one to say that, I'm sorry, not because of me, this won't happen to you." He's now also crying and hugged Amanda. Amanda stayed to the hospital for a week and continued the medication at home. Roland went to Amanda's house with his parents, that's just the time they knew that something happened between Roland and Amanda. Roland's parents apologized to Amanda and her mother. As their payback, Roland's parents sustained Amanda's studies, Amanda can't accept it at first but what Rolan'd parents said is you'll be my son's husband so you should accept this and do your best to make our son happy. A year after, Roland went to a well known college along with Amanda. Amanda took biology while Roland took sociology. They successfully finished their four year course but Amanda continued her studies and took medicine while Roland is now working on a media site where he's a consultant. After four years, Amanda finished her studies and started servicing the public being a doctor. From that time, they made love again and it resulted into a twin. They lived happily.
