Summertime occupies Ashbridges Bay before the autumn chill arrives.

Currents from Scarborough dune, scenic aggregate, fortify grounds transformed, project marshland in the 1790's.

Sarah Ashbridge acquired the water's edge; large marshland from the mouth of Don. Decades left Toronto polluted. Drained five square kilometers – cleaned up, waste filled it in.

Games underway on the sands of Instagram. The main attractions: nets, picnic(s), lifeguard stations and Blue Flag swimming year-round. One-stop to-do list: at the beach sits the other side of lakeshore.

Man-made now spreads various microorganisms to the city. Biodiversity illuminates the possibilities! Won't stunning people flock to multi-use quick bird watching washrooms, change rooms, fire pit and outdoor shower?
