Armin sat on the icy stone floor, staring up at Annie hidden inside her frozen crystal barrier. Unable to tear his eyes away from a single tear halfway fallen, that rested on her cheek. Guilt swelled inside his shattering heart, he had caused her to cry, his betrayal stained the crystallised blonde. Creaking on the steps, Eren descended the stairs to where he knew his best friend was. "Hey Armin. Is everything fine?"
Glancing away from Annie for a heartbeat, his whispered reply rang out.
"Yeah..."
"Oh... ok, so you wanna join me and Misaka later?"
"Why should I? Captain Levi ordered that I watch the female titan..."
"Sasha and Conny are coming to guard Annie soon."
"...-glaring commenced-..."
"Oh well, rot down here then, she won't break the crystal, and even if she does she isn't going to talk!"
