My head rested lightly on his bare chest, rising and falling slowly as his short breaths echoed through the small, empty room. The morning light seaped through the window, shining a faint glow on the white bed sheets below us and I could feel his warm body heat against my own skin. I could feel his fingers slowly trace along my arm, gliding up and down at his own rhythm.

These were the moments that I cherished; the moments that I never wanted to give up. I would miss his soft touch, his crooked smile, the way his curls fell into his eyes when he laughed. I would miss the way his arms wrapped around me as we slept side by side.

Nothing in my life mattered to me anymore. He was everything to me but I was slowly losing him.

I lifted my head just slightly and moved my eyes over his upper body until they rested on his face. His pink lips were parted slightly, huffing every few seconds as he breathed. His green orbs were forcused on the blank wall in front of us and his dark hair layed flat against his forehead, barely covering his eyes.

"Harry..." I whispered, curling my fingers agaisnt his chest.

The blanket that wrapped around both of us was pulled down a bit when his legs that were intertwined with mine moved from their original position. "Hmm?"

My eyes stayed on his even though he forced himself to keep a strong focus on the wall. "I don't want to leave you."

For so long we had avoided this actual conversation. We both knew the truth of what the future held for us yet we never wanted to admit it to each other. All the lies and the sneaking around would soon be over. There would be no 'Harry and I' anymore. No more secret meetings or sly glances. No more feelings being shared. It was over.

"You have to."

"But...I-"

His eyes quickly shot to mine, his head tilting down slightly to get a full view of my face. "But nothing, Allie. We both knew this would happen eventually." I could feel his arms wander to find my waist, pulling my body up closer to his own. The room we lay in seemed to become a lot smaller in those quick seconds when the bed shifted under our moving weight. "You can't have any doubt now, it's too late."

I sighed as his warm, minty breath hit my face. "No, it's not too late."

Harry's eyes scanned my face before he brought one of his hands from around my waist to my left hand that rested just below his prominant collar bones. I knew what he was doing. I knew what he was really reaching for.

His long fingers slowly worked there way up my wrist, around my palm and finally rested against my own fingers, both our eyes staring at the ring that was placed perfectly on my finger. "He asked you and you said yes."

I felt a stream of guilt flood my body instantly as Harry brought up the forbidden subject I tried my best to stay away from whenever I was with him.

His cool finger slid from mine and he pulled his entire body to the side, sitting up and swinging his legs over the side of the bed. His grey Calvin Klein boxers stood out against his lightly tanned skin. Shuffling his hair between his hands then sweeping it to the side, he stood up on his feet, his back facing me.

I watched quietly as he bent down to pick his jeans up off the floor. The way the muscles of his back moved as he did caught my full attention and suddenly the whole "engagement" subject left my mind. Harry didn't say another word or look at me when he threw on his pants and sat back down on the edge of the bed now with his plain back t-shirt in his hands.
