Compromise

When your gone the nights seem so long.

Silence is trapped around me.

I know where you are.

I know everythings okay.

It's just this wave that has to come within a few days.

I understand.

I let you go for tonight.

For you to have fun and live.

It's the simple part of the compromise.

Without it we wouldn't be able to stay together.

With it it makes us stronger.

There is one thing I hope to know though.

Even when your away with your friends there's a part of you that is stinging within.

Just like what I'm feeling that doesn't make me feel like i'm in.

I love you.

I miss you.

But I've still got you.

A small sting to my heart but it will heal thinking back to the start.

You understand me and when you've got to let me go.

So I understand when to let you go.

Compromising though feels tough sometimes.

In away I just want to hear your voice.

Even if it is just to say goodnight.

Tonight I have silence from you but love from my friends just as you do.

It will rain darkness but your still my sun at the end of the tunnel waiting with his arms wide open.

When your gone nothings the same.

I feel this piece missing from me.

Mr. Awesome, I'm glad we can stand on the same level and compromise with one another.

Without it our falling star would crash to the ground.

Leaving you my sun in another direction.

And me your moon eclipsing for a long time to come.
