Mai's P.O.V
I sigh feeling a senses of failure .I lost the demon so close to the Shire leaving it's people there in danger. It's trail stopped it was like it didn't go farther .Maybe just maybe it turned around and headed back the other way? well then that would most likely mean it was tracking some one or some thing.I thought to my self "crap" I mutter. Go back to the road at a light jog to the trail and head up it hoping to find who the Demon is following. I here voices as I catch up to them I step off the trail so I'm out of there sight. I catch a glimpse of Gandalf and what seemed to be threaten dwarfs and a halfling? "Gandalf" I call out as I step in to sight the group stops and faces me "Ah Mia what brings you here? I thought you were on the borders of fangul Forrest?" Gandalf greets me smiling "Well I was but then.... I'm may I speak with you in privet for a moment please?" The dwarf that was at the start of the group had come to stand be side Gandalf "Gandalf who is this?" he asks in a cold tone "she is Mai one of the last shadow Beast hunters left in middle earth. yes Mai we can talk in privet may Thorin join us?" The dwarf known as Thorin nods I'm guessing by the blue of his eyes he is Thorin Oakenshield " Yes he may." we step to the side "Gandalf I believe you and your company or being tracked by some sort of demon I do not know what it is for sure for it is like some thing I have never seen before." I explain to them after they told what it was they were doing Thorin looks at me "Are you sure it is tracking us?" He demands "I'm sure there hasn't been any one who travels the root as it was going" I state there was a long silence before Gandalf spoke "Thorin I believe it would be wise for Mia to travel with us. No one in your company can see or tell where the demon is until it would be To late." Thorin looks from Gandalf to me before speaking "you are a descent fighter?" in a slightly less cold tone "Yes I am I'm able to heal miner wounds a well" Thorin nods in approval we head back to the group Gandalf explains why I will be joining them on there quest
