Ghosts
Ghosts that travel in the night
And fill your dreams with terrible fright
Are some of these real
Or are they just illusions revealing our fears
Some ghosts haunt you with sight of the past
Some with the thoughts of a horrible future
Awaiting our impending arrival
With a force greater than any enemy
Some ghosts come back in the form
Of a loved one departed
Telling us to live our lives
Without regret
The ghosts are different for every person
Whether they give you nightmares
Or bring back good memories of the past
One thing remains the same
All of the ghosts
Present and past, good and bad
Are all in our head
All we need do, is release them

Poems
PoetryWords was written while taking a break from NaNoWriMo. Words got published in a school publication as well. I decided to add my other poems onto it so I had one place for all of them and so I didn't have a lot of poems on my page.
