When they got to be 14 Ace's mom asked Ace if he liked Wendy- as more than a friend.
Ace stared back at her; and not thinking said, "I'm not gay."
Ace's mom saw the secret behind the statement. It wouldn't make sense because Wendy was a girl to her and Ace was a boy.
She told Wendy's dad what Ace said right away.
Wendy came to school the next day in a pink dress and eleven tears in his stockings.
