Where were you when I was feeling sad?
Where were you when things were turning bad?
Where were you when I needed you most?
It was like you never existed,
Am I talking to a ghost?
When I cried,
No one came and dried my eyes.
When I screamed,
No one came to rescue me.
Where were you when I was bleeding?
Where were you to stop my heart from aching?
Now here I am,
Needing you again.
Like a child that needs,
An imaginary friend.
But I don't see you anywhere.
I'm stuck here alone,
Fighting my own despair.
Where could you possibly be?
I'm am on my knees,
Can you not see?
