Mark and I walk out of the pharmacy and I see his sister Jordyn leant up against a wall, a rifle slung over her arm. Her eyes widen when she sees me."Oh my god Leo!" She says and gives me a big hug. Mark's sister is 18 years old, two years older than he is. "Are you okay? Are you sick? Do you-"
"Jordyn I'm completely fine!" I laugh, but the sudden happiness quickly dissapeared. "But my mum isn't," I whisper.
"Lion, what's wrong?" Asked Mark. The nickname made me feel sick with nostalgia. "She got sick a few days after the fog happened. And about a week ago she started coughing up blood. We ran out of meds, I was just getting some for her."
Mark gives me a weak smile. "We're going to help you here ok? Everything will be perfectly fine. "
And I actually believed him.
