Chapter 8-Puberty?

Back at Headquarters.......

"We're back!!!"shouted Joy.

"Joy!!! Riley's been having scary dreams!!!!"said Fear while quivering.

"We'll deal with that later."said Joy "Love, apply the lipstick."

"Her name's Love?"questioned Sadness while Love carefully applied the lipstick.

Love's lips sparkled slightly. "He....Hel...Hello?"stuttered Love.

"It worked!!"exclaimed Disgust."We succeeded!!!!!"

" I can finally talk here!!" gasps Love in shock "Thank you so much.... All of you... I'm so thrilled to finally feel at home here!!"

Sadness tugged on Joy's arm gently.

"R..Ri..Riley has sc..sc.. scary dreams about rejection and being an outcast...." murmured Sadness timidly.

"Th.. The..There was also a certain boy who kept popping in all of her horrific dreams" stuttered Fear " He kept repeating something like how she would never get her feelings returned by him?!?!"

"If my prediction is correct, Riley has got herself a crush!" thought Love out loud.

"What!?!?!" Exclaimed everyone excluding Love.

"Is a crush dangerous??" Wondered Fear.

"No it just means someone that Riley likes, " stated Love " It's my job to calm her down when she sees him, talks to him and a lot of other things."

"So... basically it's your specialty? " asks Disgust.

"Yup! " answered Love." This is just a effect of puberty."

"I guess we're gonna have to deal with some changes in Riley's life then, "sighed Disgust."She better not start liking icky broccoli or I quit."
