It is upon accepting that
Everything in reality is tainted
With corruption, do I feel
A release from the fear that
Has always encased me.
Blake was right.
The Divine can only reside
In the imagination.
Human nature is unfathomably amoral.
Yet our actions in the real world
Are as much as who we are
In our imaginations.
We are a mixture
Of innocence and experience;
The lamb will inevitably grow old
The girl will inevitably fall
And I must realise that bad things are bad but can also lead to things more than good.
