The Rave

We spend the nights dancing, drift apart in days, spend the nights dancing

Lights all around us flaring, illuminating the sweat and electricity of a raging room

Hips together swaying to the sweet sayings of the high voltage music, vulgar romancing

This party our mother, this energy our birth, our fire, this pit our womb

This should be my life, to find wife for a night, after party, I wished not to part

As I had danced the night away, I had grown into mine own skin

The night should never end, when at first it seemed not smart

These bumping, grinding, one by one besidings've become my kin

As the music clears so does my head, it's time to return to my bed

Alone, music slows, slowly goes the faces I'd keep at heart

Emphasizing the words I'd left unsaid

Please, please, let us not part!

Our love merry, fools, for too good is the dance!

Never disconnect for every time your hips move, hearts prance!
