I knocked on my dad's room door. Something had gone wrong with Chris & i had to find out.
"Dad! Wake up!" I yelled.
I could hear a muffled voice. From what i heard it sounded like he was getting out of his bed. He opened the door
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Chris was screaming... i heard it." I whispered.
"Honey, maybe he just fell or something. He's fine." He said as he rubbed his face, obviously not caring about what i was saying.
"No dad.. i swear it sounded more than that.. someone called him a disgrace." I could feel my eyes begin to tear.
"Okay okay.. ill call now then." He grumbled. He walked into his room & grabbed his phone dialing the number.
"Dad.... just ask if he's okay." I said.
"Hello ? Yes can i speak to chris?" He asked.
"Hey, Chris, Lacey told me she heard you screaming. Are you okay?" He frowned. "Okay.. Okay... Yup. Thats fine.." Then he hung up.
"He's okay. He said he fell." Then with that, he ushered me out of the room.
"He is NOT okay." I said as i walked to my room..
