🎈To vs For

It has been long time I hadn't come to give you a new lesson, because I was busy, like many others in this world/ Ha pasado mucho tiempo que no había venido a darte una nueva lección, porque estaba ocupada, como muchos otros en este mundo.

The new topic can be some confused, and sometimes we have watched videos o we have read an articules, but we haven't found the key/ El nuevo tema puede ser algo confuso, y a veces hemos visto videos o leido artículos, pero no hemos encontrado la clave.

That sounded like a advertisement, i know/ Eso sonaba como un anuncio, lo sé.

The difference is kind of difficult to explain, but i'll try my best, for you / La diferencia es algo difícil de explicar, pero haré todo lo posible por ti.

🗝To =   TRANSFER

We're always to use as a transfer or exchange or change something / Siempre debemos usarlo como transferencia o intercambio o cambio de algo.

🗝For =  BENEFIT

We're always to use as something beneficial or good for the person. (If you don't understand the word benefit, it means a good thing) / Siempre vamos a usar como algo beneficioso o bueno para la persona. (Si no entiendes la palabra beneficio, significa algo bueno)

So, if you want to transfer or exchange something you are gonna do it "to", if you want to do something for someone in a good way it's gonna be "for"/ Por lo tanto, si desea transferir o intercambiar algo que va a hacer "to", si quieres hacer algo por alguien de una buena manera va a ser "for".

So, let's check this out with examples/ Ahora, vamos a comprobarlos con algunos ejemplos.

E.g

The first two, (made and gave) these words, these sentences are actually in the past tense.  It doesn't matter if you are using past, present or future or any grammar, in the tenses, what matters is happening in the tense/ Las dos primeras, (made and gave) estas oraciones están en pasado. No importa si estás usando pasado, presente o futuro o cualquier tiempo gramatical, lo que importa está sucediendo en el tiempo.

(The first one) You can either use "to" or "for"

So, what do you think? / ¿Entonces, qué piensas?

Remember that made is the verb in past of make

Recuerda que made es el verbo en pasado de make.

Is this lesson good for you? Yes, it is. So, because this is a good thing that's happening and I'm giving it to you / Hice esta lección. ¿Es esta lección buena para usted? Sí lo es. Así que, porque esto es algo bueno que está sucediendo y te lo estoy dando.

I'm going to benefit you, it's gonna be good, and you're gonna use: FOR / Voy a beneficiarte, va a ser bueno, y vas a usar: FOR.

Remember that gave is the verb in past of give

Recuerda que gave is el verbo en pasado de give.

I gave the beer "for" her or "to" her? / Le di la cerveza "por" ella o "a" ella?

I'm actually holding a beer and I'm going to give it to someone, and physically I'm giving her beer, I'm transferring beer from my hand, to her hand / En realidad estoy sosteniendo una cerveza y voy a darla a alguien, y físicamente le doy cerveza, estoy transfiriendo cerveza de mi mano, a su mano.

So I'm actually transferring somethig, and you're gonna use: TO / Así que en realidad estoy transfiriendo algo, y vas a usar: TO

I gave the beer to you

I'm going to talk "for" her or "to" her? / Voy a hablar "por" ella o "a" ella?

When we talk, what do we do? We exchange or we transfer information / Cuando hablamos, ¿qué hacemos? Intercambiamos o transferimos información.

I'm going to talk to you

I will do that, or I will do something "to" you, "for" you. So if i do something for you I'm going to help you; maybe i will wash the dishes / Yo haré eso, o haré algo "a" usted ", por" usted ". Así que si hago algo por ti voy a ayudarte; Tal vez voy a lavar los platos.

So I would say, I will do something or do that, "for" you. See if you can do this one by yourself / Así que yo diría, voy a hacer algo o hacer eso "para" usted. Vea si puede hacer esto uno solo.

I will do that for you

The grammar in the last ones is simple present tense / La gramática en las ultimas es el presente simple.

So when someone sings, do they do it to exchange something? Or do they do it because it's pleasure, or beneficial, or good? / Así que cuando alguien canta, ¿lo hacen para intercambiar algo? ¿O lo hacen porque es placer, o beneficioso, o bueno?

Oh, pick that one! / Oh, escoge ese.

I sing for you

I go "for" school? No, I go "to" school / Voy para la escuela? No, voy a la escuela.

So, let's just check out what we're actually transferring and exchanging in these sentences / Así que, echemos un vistazo a lo que realmente estamos transfiriendo e intercambiando en estas oraciones

If you say "I go to school". You're transferring your body. So you're going from one place to another place / Si usted dice "yo voy a la escuela". Estás transfiriendo tu cuerpo. Así que vas de un lugar a otro.

I go to school
