You look at me
You look at my smile
My energy
But how could you know
That I was wearing a mask

Once I lift the mask
The smile
The energy
The happiness
Is gone

Instead, there is
Agony
Torture
Coldness
Indescribable pain

So when you see me laughing
I'm actually crying inside
That's all I ever do
That's all I ever feel

So I'm begging
Help me
Help me until the mask is no longer a mask

But until then
In front of you
I'll always be wearing a mask
I'll always be hiding
Hiding behind a mask
