Chapter Two: The school Kingkas

(Miinah’s P.O.V)

“So you came from Florida?” Yuri asked me inquisitively as she nibbled on a stick of chocolate pocky.

“Yeah.. We had to move here in Seoul because of my father's job requires us to live here.“ I reached out for one of the pocky sticks that the tan girl had offered me and also started to nibble at it.

“Hmmm.. So, that means you just moved to Korea just because your parents just had to?” It was Seohyun who asked me this time.

“Yeah, as much as we want to remain in Florida, my brother and I had to accompany our parents here. Being rich doesn't mean we'll just stay there and live separately from them. We're still young and our parents are getting old. We have to look after them, after all.” I took another pocky stick.

Yuri smirked at me playfully. “So your family is rich?” She also nibbled on another pocky stick.

“Um...” I paused and shrugged my shoulders at her. “Well.. we’re not really that rich.”

“Yeah right. Like we would believe you, Min-ah” Yuri rolled her eyes then laughed, still nibbling on the chocolates flavoured biscuit stick.

“Yeah~” Seohyun agreed on what Yuri said as she reached for one of those chocolate covered stick. Only to pout at us when she got the last one. “Hey! How come there is only one pocky stick left in the box? You two already ate it all?!"

Yuri & I looked at each other then smiled sheepishly at Seohyun.

“Mianhe, Seohyun-ah.” Yuri tilted her head and apologized to Seohyun cutely. I couldn't help but chuckle at what she just did. The two of them really looked like great friends. “It looks like you had met a new friend who is also a pocky eating monster”

The three of us laughed at what Yuri had just said. Somehow, it's nice making friends with these two girls. In all honesty, I've never really made friends with other girls since we migrated to Florida. But now, it was nice that I could still meet genuine people like Yuri and Seohyun. I was really lucky.

I stopped laughing when a girl from our class entered the classroom while shouting,“The Kingka’s are arriving!”

My jaw dropped when I saw what looked like a hundred of girls started crowding the hallway. This was the first time I saw this kind of thing in person. I just usually see this happening in Korean dramas or movies before. It was kinda weird, but, hilarious at the same time.

“Oh, the Kingkas are here.” Yuri said with a chuckle as she watched the hilarity unfolding in front of their eyes.

“What are Kingkas?”

“They are the kings of the schools, all five of them.” Seohyun answered while her eyes focused outside the classroom.

“Oh.. like they are the most popular boys in the school? I see..” I said as I slowly nodded my head. My eyes focused at the crowds of people cheering outside of the classroom.

Wow. They have so many fans, this is unbelievable.

(Onew’s P.O.V)

“Ugh… Another day, another crowd of hyperactive girls to go through." I whispered to Jonghyun.

Jonghyun looked at me puzzled. “What’s wrong with it? Aren’t you happy that girls are chasing us?”

That sentence earned Jonghyun a smacked in the head from each of the members excluding himself. I just shook my head at him. Among the five of us, he's really the only womanizer. So, I can't really blame him for saying that kind of thing. But still, it's creepy.
