Depression isn't what everyone thinks
It isn't aesthetically sitting and crying on your bed
However that's how society portrays it
Depression is struggling to get out of bed
It's putting on a smile because you don't want others to feel the way you do
It's not feeling sad, it's feeling nothing
It's not wanting to do anything even if you used to love it
It's sleeping all day or not sleeping at all
It's eating constantly or forgetting to eat
It's not beautiful
It's a crushing weight on beautiful people.
Anxiety isn't what everyone thinks
It is not weak people unable to handle stress
However that's how society portrays it
Anxiety is never falling asleep
It's worrying over every choice and action
It's being exhausted, but not being able to calm down
It's avoiding people and activities in fear of a breakdown
It's needing to concentrate, but not being able to
It's constantly being on edge
It's not weak
It's a constant battle against strong people.
