I never had the chance
I felt this lance
Crying my heart out
Beating this pain
Laughing at my memory
Saying I was a shame
Your poor little mate
You told me
I was too weak to be
We could never be because
I was too poor a mate to be
Well heck I got up
After you said that
I stood up tall
And said
There’s no going back
I ran away from you
From your little pack and then I joined another
Who wanted me back
Now days I feel you
I see you
The pain it gives
When you caress her
Yet on I go
I’ll never give up
You hurt me then
I’ll never give in
My new pack doesn’t know
They think I’m just sad
But I’ll never tell them
The pain in my heart
Go on my mate
Go live your life
This little Luna has made her flight
When you rejected her
She bore it through
Only heavens know
What she went through
Alas I fear as the days go on
I don’t think I’ll have too long
But the day I saw you
I felt you connect
Will always be with me
till my death.
