I sneeze and wake myself up. I yawn but freeze when I hear knocking. I look to see Flowery asleep in his pot and leave out the room and toward Mom.

She was also sleeping and snoring a bit. I close her door and head toward the knocking. Its down in the basement.

I walk down and see a door. I walk toward it and tilt my head.

"Knock knock." A semi-deep voice says

"Who is it?" I smile

"Atch."

"Atch who?"

"Bless you."

We laugh and I beam.

"Knock Knock."

"Who's there?" He chuckles

"Boo."

"Boo who?"

"Why are you sad?"

We laugh again and he chuckle.

"Why are graveyards so nosy?"

"Why?" I ask

"Because of all the coffin."

We laugh and he sigh.

"So Toriel...how are you?"

I freeze and squeak.

"I'm not Toriel." I whisper

"Then who are you?"

"Princess Esme." I smile at the door.

"Kiddo, peak out the door." He says.

I wring my fingers and sigh.

"I don't know..." i trail off

"I just wanna see ya princess."

I nod and open the door. I see a skeleton with a blue jack with white fluff, a white shirt, shorts, and pink slippers. He had white pinkpricks for eyes.

I wring my hands and smile. He smile at me and I giggle before yanking back in and closing the door.

"There's your look." I giggle.

"That was just a peak." He chuckles.

"I guess you need to keep a eye socket out for the next one."

We laugh again and he sigh.

"Everytime i hear a skeleton joke, it rattles my bones."

We laugh and then I hear someone clear their throat. I gasp and see Mom. She has her hand on her hip.

"Hey Kid, are you okay?" Sans ask

"Knock knock." Mom says

"Who's there?"

"Who."

"Who who?"

"The owl on the other side of the door." Mom says

I try to hold in my giggles as the skeleton chuckles.

"Its nice to talk to you Sans."

"You too Toriel... I didn't mean for the kiddo to get in trouble." He says concerned.

"I know but Esme knows that she isn't supposed to be up this late." Mom chastised

I flinch and give a small grimace smile.
