I came up with this quote one day and thought it was the best thing ever. I probably lived by it for a week and always repeated it whenever I got bored. The point of it was not to let lust and the hunger for love to control you, even though it seems uncontrollable. The quote is mainly encouragement.
I believe I made it up when I was struggling with my self esteem and weight. I used to be overweight (like really unhealthily overweight). I would get really depressed and was very self conscious about it. Sadly, food was my coping mechanism. Plate after plate I'd eat and eat, just to feel sorry for myself the whole time. Food made me feel full and it gave me something to think about. I'd look forward to eating. Any food I saw, anytime I heard someone cooking I'd anticipate eating. Every thought I had would consist of food.
One thing led to another and by the 8th grade I considered my self suicidal.
