Look at me,
not my smile,
let me see,
that im worth while.
Peer into my soul,
see the real me,
find the gaping hole,
help let me be.
Glance inside my eyes,
see the painfilled spark,
look behind my disguise,
my heart filled with dark.
Xray my chest,
try to find my pulse,
leave it, its for the best,
my heartbeat is false.
Notice my scarred skin,
tell me its okay,
my patience is wearing thin,
i want someone to stay.
Look at me,
see the hidden pain,
tell me what you see,
is it my strain?
Please ma,
hold me tight,
i made that scar,
dont leave me alone tonight.
But nobody looks up,
nobody shall see,
Im left in this dump,
this person isnt me.
