You wouldn't speak at all.

You just sat there, in total silence, looking at the floor.

"Why won't you speak?" I said in despair.

You did nothing but look at the ground. I only did this to make you happy, my love.. Your world is strange. I only ended her life to see you smile. She deserved it anyways.. But you're not smiling. Not at all. Seeing you like this, makes me so hurt. I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed. I don't know what else to do..A few hours past and the doorbell rang. Your stupid parents answered it and there stood two men. They held a picture up of the girl and had mean looks on their faces. Your parents screamed your name, not with love, but with anger. You whimpered in fear and went downstairs to be shoved by your father. Your mother rolled her eyes and the two men sat you down onto the couch. I growled at them all, standing next to you, ready to strike. They questioned you about the girl. They said you were seen at the park with her. You told them you didn't know about anything, and after a while, they left. Your parents went back to ignoring you, occasionally giving you dirty looks. I would gladly rip their throats out and laugh at their pain but I think you'd be even more upset. I don't understand your feelings towards the people that hurt you..You're one strange human.

Before I went to your room with you, I snarled at your parents and made some things break. They gasped and left, not even taking you. Disgusting. I growled and went to you and you were at your desk with your head in your hands. "I did this for you." I said, stroking your hair. I'm sorry princess. You sighed and looked out the window, staring at the beautiful moon. "You got me in trouble." You quietly said. "Why?" Your voice was barely above a whisper. "I would do anything for you. Anything." I said. You didn't hear like always and just sat on your bed. You closed your eyes and fell asleep, probably hoping the world would go away. I wish it would too..

The next day you went to school. I went with you to make sure you weren't bullied. I remember you opening the door when you got home and me running to you, hugging you. I always assumed you were fine. But I can't take any chances now. You got onto your school bus, and people gave you odd looks. You held onto your backpack tightly and looked down. You sat in the middle, by yourself. I sat next to you and put my head on your shoulder. Everyone seemed to ignore you or just make fun of you. I watched them as they screamed at you and said horrible comments. If I could, I'd rip each and every one of their heads off..

When you got off the bus, some people tripped you and you fell down. I saw the tears in your eyes. I saw the pain. I'm sorry angel. I promise, everything will get better soon. Once you got your books, you scurried off inside and I followed. The whole air was filled with smoke and disgusting humans doing strange things. They all reminded me of that girl and her boyfriend. I glared at them all and followed you around, acting as your shadow. I will protect you. I will always keep you safe. You went to your locker and was shoved onto the flood. I hissed loudly, all of my vision becoming red. Those dumb humans heard and ran away, afraid. You heard it too. I know you did.. But you tried to ignore it. You got everything you needed and once the bell rung, you went in a room. You sat in the back of the room and while everyone else was talking, you listened to your music and read a book. I watched you carefully. Anything could happen right now and I'm not going to risk it. When someone even looked at you, I growled in defense. You're so fragile and delicate.. I can't let anything happen to you again..

By this time it was your lunch. You got only small amounts of food and sprinted to the bathroom. You sat in one of the stalls and ate slowly with tears in your eyes.. Actually you'd didn't eat at all..I worriedly looked at you and held your hand. Please eat something. Humans need to eat to live right? I can't lose you. I can't. I kept whispering to you, hoping I could be your conscience and make you eat. You're so thin and small. You're going to get sick. I sighed and the bell rung, you threw your food in the garbage and ran away. You're so different from all of these people. I kind of like it..

All of your classes past and you went home and curled up inside of your bed. I curled up next to you, patting your back. You're brave for going to school. I'm so proud of you, my brave little human.. An hour or so past and after you finished all of your school work, you wanted to paint your nails and do your makeup. I don't understand. You don't need all of those things..

You took a pink color and painted your nails with it on the floor. I sat next to you. Do I do it too? I tilted my head and took another color and stared at it. I looked at what you were going and mimicked you. I smiled and was proud when I saw it look as pink as yours. That's a good thing right? Then you did your makeup. You didn't need it but you looked beautiful in it. I looked at your makeup and out of curiosity, I did the same as you. Am I doing it right? I looked at you and put the "lipstick" on my face. Whatever that is.. A few minutes later, we were both done. You looked like a princess. My princess. But I didn't know how to react to mine. I just followed what you were doing. It didn't look as good as yours, which made me frustrated. It was smeared all over my face and there was "eyeshadow" all over my face too. But I had fun copying you and your human ways.. You took all of your makeup off and got ready for sleeping. I waited for you, patiently and when you curled up with your blanket, I held you and rocked you, hoping you could feel my warmth and love. Goodnight precious.. I hope we can do this again soon. I love you beautiful.
