The Story of the Fallen Angel

Stripped of her wings

This starry night

This new world gives her a fright.

A teen with hopes and dreams

Pulled down to earth as her halo gleams.

It fades away

Nowhere in sight

Kill hersellf, oh she just might.

Set to live life on her own

Porcelain skin cold,

Hard as stone.

Wonders the streets searching for hope,

Will this fallen angel cope?

Bright one morning

Early next day

She sets off to the town not wanting to stay.

Spotting one boy that smiles at her,

She forgets her words, starting to slur.

They fall in love

Their fondness grows

As beutiful as a blooming rose.

She regrets no more of leaving heaven

For the days they spent were only seven.

She loved him like nothing ever before

Even though her angel wings tore.

Then came that day when she had to confess

Her true identity was that difficult to address.

Former angel currently in love

Her love as pure and true as a dove

She broke down and shed a tear.

Eyes pool blue and so sincere.

Her bent down and held her hands

Comforting her, she could not stand.

The fallen angel revealed the scars deeply inprinted on her back.

The despair of his girlfriend almost gave him an anxiety attack.

She calmed her breath

And explained it all

That to be together forever, the answer was death.

He willingly pulled a dagger out of his pocket

As her heart lmost exploded like a rocket.

He plunged the weapon through his heart

As the fallen angel fell apart.

She screamed and cried

Knowing that her love had died.

What had he done?

The faith she had was none.

She weeped in despair

Not at all aware.

Suddenly a twinge of light

Sparked from her back as it struck midnight

Wings appeared, her old ones at that

Glimmering in the light, beautiful to look at.

The maiden realized what was occuring

As her vision started blurring

She closed her eyes, opening them once more

Finding a place wher she had been before

She caught sight of her boyfriend with wings on his back now

As he started to take a bow

They were in heaven

She had claimed someone would find love in her heart

For this feeling was just like a work of art.

They spent forever together in a land of goodness.

The possibilities together were endless.
