Running.

Running was the only thing I could do to save myself.

It felt as if the walls were closing in on me, and I was slowly suffocating. My breathing was heavy and I knew I was going to collapse if I kept going on.

Suddenly, I couldn't take it anymore.

Whispers. They filled my head and caused my head to ache. They weren't stopping. They just kept on going, the uncomprehendable voices that I wanted to shove away.

Then a more distinct voice came, shoving the other voices into the back of my mind. I focused in on that one voice, but regretted it instantly.

I was in way to deep, and it was to late to get away.

Regret and shame. Those were the emotions that were bubbling up inside me because of all my horrible actions.

Going to my last resort, I slipped to the ground, sobbing and begging the voices to stop.

But I knew they wouldn't. They would haunt me for the rest of my life, causing me pain as much as I tried to stop it.

This is a very short story I decided to write for fun. It's not very good, but I would love feedback. :)
