The Bells
Modeled after Edgar Allen Poe's Poem- The Bells
(Lyrics)

Silver
Do you hear the ringing bells?
Do you hear what melody they foretell?
Do you hear the tinkle, tinkle, tinkle in the icy air of the night?
Do you see the stars above?
In the heavens all the angels seem to laugh with crystalline delight
While they watch the times, times, times go by in a sort of runic rhyme
Do you Hear the music swell to the breaking point?
From the bells
Do you hear the Silver Bells?

Gold
Can you hear the wedding bells?
Through the balmy air of the night
How they ring out their delight
From the molten golden notes
You've been captured by the bells
Oh the swinging and the ringing of the bells
Can you hear the golden bells, oh
Can you hear the Golden Bells

Brazen
You hear the terror in their screams
Oh how it echoes through the night
They can only shriek, shriek, shriek out a warning
You can hear the roar of the fire
And smell the smoke in the air
You can hear the Brazen Bells clang out their warning to all who can hear

Iron
I can hear the Death bell tolling
Tolling through my ears
Right down to the marrow of my bones
We shiver with melancholy at the meaning of their tones
And out of our rusty throats comes a groan
Filled with the pain of our predecessors
Who have heard this dark Iron Bell
