Is today your last day?
Is time gone?
Will you leave me in May?
Was your life a pro or a con?
Will I control your fate?
I certainly hope not.
It might be to late.
Will you lay and rot?
Do you believe I would hurt you?
I couldn't if I tried.
If not I, then who?
They most likely lied.
Is today the last day?
Will the Sun come out to play,
Before we leave?
This will be all it can achieve.
If today is your last day, then so be it.
I will come along, to keep our spirits lit.
