How did you discover Wattpad?

I discovered Wattpad through a friend I went to school with.  We both share a love of writing, and she had posted some stories on here that she wanted me to read.  She told me I should get an account on here and transfer my stuff from quizilla.  I loved it so much that I deleted my Quizilla account in the end!

How did you come up with your username?

Originally, it was my last name and first initial, but that was just so blah.  I wanted my username to deal with writing in some way, shape, or form.  I just didn’t want it to be “writerchick1234,” you know?  So, I went to the trusty google translator and looked up “writer” in different languages.  “Scriitor” is actually Romanian for “writer.”

When and how did you start writing stories?

I have been writing my whole life, but the first time I remember actually sitting down and writing a story I was in early elementary school.  It was right after How the Grinch Stole Christmas came out in theatres.  I came straight home, and I didn’t want it to end there.  I knew exactly how I would have done things differently, and what I thought should happen next.  I took some printer paper and a pencil, and I wrote How the Grinch Stole Christmas Part 2.  That was my one, and only, piece of fan-fiction.  I try to stick to my own characters now a days, so I don’t offend authors.

Do you base your characters off of real life people? If so, how and why?

I can’t say any one character is like a person I know in real life.  However, things my characters do or say are occasionally taken from real life events.  The conversations I might have two characters who are best friends (like Maria and Amanda) have are usually influenced by the way my friends and I interact.  I owe my friends for a lot of my characters stupid endeavors because I can picture my friends doing that if they haven’t already done it! haha

What are your current projects?

My main project right now is Kissing School.  When I finish that, I plan to go to my other story on here, Up Please.  I got so inspired by Kissing School that Up Please ended up taking a back burner, but I will try and work on it some more.  I might try and post a new story all together because if it gets the same response Kissing School is getting, I might try for the Wattawards 2012!  Fingers crossed!

If you could switch places with any character in one of your stories, who would it be?

The shallow side of me who would love to make out with a guy as hot as Cameron, would have to say Amanda.  If not her, then I have a side project that I haven’t really started writing yet set in a dystopian world.  I probably would choose that main character because she is a total badass, and that’s a trait I admire in female characters.  I love it when they can take on the boys!

Do you have a motto? If so, what is it?

I really don’t have a life motto, but if I did, it would probably be that every cloud has a silver lining.  I try to see the best of any situation that I am put in even though that that is really hard sometimes, and I fail miserably.  I still try which counts!

Who is your favorite Wattpad author?

I don’t really have one favorite author!  There are so many amazing authors on Wattpad!  My favorite authors right now though would have to be kirsty1000, decemberfallen, Kissmyoops3, and jules130!  I really love the stories that I have read by those authors!

Favorite type of stories you like to write?

I like to write about real people in real situations.  I find them easier to write because I have more knowledge of them, I guess.  However, I have lately been getting into dystopian and werewolf books.  They are a little bit different, and they require a lot more research.  I enjoy it though because you can create your own world which is a little bit more complex because everything in that story is yours: the world, the setting, their abilities, their actions, and the characters.  Where, in real situation stories it is mainly the characters that you create.  It is more challenging, but I’m growing to enjoy it!
