The next day comes, and I pace my room, occasionally going to the bathroom next door to get sick. Finally, I hear a soft tap on the window the tells me Gryff is back. I slid open the window, take the letter from Lily off Gryff's leg, and set Gryff in her cage. Then I unfold Lily's reply.

Are you even kidding me? Your really pregnant? And it's Sirius's kid? You'll have to explain this all to me when you come over. Mum and Dad said you come over later this week, and stay until school starts.

I reread Lily's letter. I can come over later that week. That's great. I automatically start throwing stuff in my trunk. Throwing the rest of my stuff in my trunk, I put Gryff's cage on top, an decide I'll take the Knight Bus to get there. I lay down on my bed and wait.
