Under The Moonlight

I sit under the moonlight
With its light shines so bright
It doesn’t get out of my sight
For he is my friend tonight.
Along with him are the stars
That I can’t reach cause it’s too far
Still I find with the moon
That I could even see in my room.
During the darkest of my days
He was there with me always
He never let me down
Bringing smiles to my every frown.
How I wish I could be like him
To shine on you when the world is dim.
Wishing we could be friends forever
Cause I promise I will never leave you.
