I lied
By: Anisa Mae Banzuela
I told you that I don’t love you anymore
But you’re still the one I’m longing for
I still can’t get you out of my mind
I can’t go on my life and leave you behind.
Eveytime I close my eyes
All I can see are those lies,
I pretend that I don’t need you
That I’m happy, though it’s not true.
I want you to know
I still let you go
I am sorry I lied to you
Now I am suffering, but I’m willing to.
I have to face my consequences
Or leaving you with all those chances
Of being happy and much contented
But I have no other choice for our story has ended.
