Hey guys! Here's a look at chapter two. Hope you love it ☺️

Hugs and kisses to my misses

So I was going to write up this chapter next week, but my county has another snow day! So here's another one. Hope you enjoy it! I'm going to write out the third chapter and have it out most likely by Sunday. This is the most I've done in a while! But after this week, it's a chapter a week. Please enjoy and tell me what you think in the comments

colten's

warm, soft hand intertwined with mine. "Kaylee, what are you looking at?" He looked down into my eyes intently. Then over to the direction where my eyes wanderd. "Nothing." I shrugged pulling him up the steps to the front porch.

Colten opened up the cream colored front door. I looked over my shoulder again. But the figure that was in between the two evergreen trees, was gone. We gave eachother a quick peck before I walked up to Avery's bedroom. I padded down the caramel colored carpeted floor.

I was strolling down the plush carpet to Avery's room when I saw it. To my astonishment her room was clean!... Clean! I haven't seen her room this clean in many years. And we've been friends for a long time.

I shut my gaping mouth and walked inside.

"Hey hey." I popped onto her lime green plump bean bag. "So who's moving in next door? That truck wasn't there yesterday afternoon." I tossed aside my worn down backpack

Avery turned into my direction to answer my question. "Some elite family. They have some boy too. He's our age and I think is going to our same school."

"Any who, Colten said that he's a major pain. He's gotten expelled from 5 different schools in the past 3 years."

Holy shit. 5 schools? Now way this kid is that bad. There has to be some mix up or something.

"Hold up. You sure that's not an exaggeration?" I raise my eyebrows at her.

"Nope he's some kind of lamo drug user and dealer. I'd stay away if I were you. " Avery tossed aside her blond baby hairs and scoffed. "He's not even grateful for anything."

"Oh well hmm. Maybe he'll be at out school or something."

"I'm did you not just hear me? He's nasty! Don't try to be nice." She sneered at the thought of some dirty boy at our school.

I reached for the remote for her tv. In a matter of seconds the tv hums to life against her peach colored walls.

"Here you can borrow anything. I found some pajamas for you." She tossed them to me. Avery has bad aim in general and they landed in a heap on her lava lamp. "Oops." She giggles.

These were my fave pjs to be exact. Ultra soft and full of multi colored snowflakes.

Avery flopped onto her queen sized bed even messing it up more then before. I stopped channel surfing when I finally got to MTV. That's just because awkward was on. Aka the best show in the world!

"Kaylee, turn it up! I haven't seen this episode yet."

I reply with a nod and the room was filled with Matty's sultry voice. Well that is until I saw a muscular arm poke through the door way. "Are you both changed yet?" The voice asked curiously.

If there's one thing about this boy, is that he's really polite. Avery and I both crack up. "Dude come in, but make it quick. What do you want now?" Avery rolled her eyes.

Colten walked right in then and started fiddling with some figurine. Oh I do love how handsome and curious he is. I watched his face as the screen flickered across it.
