Jessica's POV
I quietly drive. No one tries to spark conversation. Why would they? This isn't a joke anymore. It's just the end.
I'm thinking about Jason, Juliah, Joseph, and everyone that worked for me. I know that I'm going back tonight, even if just end up dying.
It's alright.
It will just be a short cut.

There isn't many zombies. That's good. Only saw two so far.
It's night and I sit by the front door. I watch the stars glimmer silently from the sky. It's interesting to think that the stars your seeing is really the past, so to avoid the past you can't look behind you or, apparently, up either.
I rest my hand of the cold door. The white wood moves when I shift the door open. I set out with a simple Katana. I found it under Ross' desk,of course. I walk into the breezy night.
The soft wind tugs at my hair but I keep walking.
I don't care if this is a suicide run.
