Although miles apart.
We began at the start...
We began with equal hearts.
Years ago, we lived our lives.
Oh! So right!
I remember and I miss you tonight.
I remember our strength and our stride.
Livin' fast and hard.
A part of us we will never discard.
Time has passed way too much
Since I last felt your warm hug.
Equal hearts, my love.
We balanced out our lives to rise above.
We laughed, we cried, we lived....TRUE!
I truly miss, as I do love you!
Better than a best friend.
Where others broke....you'd always bend.
If I could see your smile right now...
I'd feel so happy, without a doubt.
I'd jump and scream and shout,
I'd smoother you and follow you on your way out.
Hug you repeatedly and beg you to stay.
With you.....I'll always want just ONE MORE DAY!
Most things in life, I've found...
Are not equal or fair or sound.
But with a friendship as great as ours
We can thank the lucky stars!
For you've got my heart and I've got yours.
