A spark that lights my eye,

Every time I see the face,

My heart will not lie,

I slow down my pace.

 

I’ve fallen many times,

I now know it’s true,

There will never be paper valentines,

If I can’t even talk to you.

 

Feeling like we’re not worth it,

We’ve all been here before,

But inside we will always long,

For this someone more…
