I will always remember him
And how he stripped me naked
Took away my layers until he found me shaking underneath
He did it with words
And jokes
And promises
Until I was trembling from cold
From fear of the unknown
Of letting someone see you in real light
And I only expected the worse
I expected pain when winds from the outside hit me after so long of being hidden
But his words
Oh, his words
Wrapped around my fingers like stars
And to this day I cant tell
How someone like him
Full of good
Drowning in essence
Could ever see someone like me
And for their first thought to be
Let me save you
I will make you free
Just like Me
