Chapter 11

okay so this chapter is shorter I am not about to lie to you beautiful readers out there that read my book and vote, comment or fan me so this is a heads up

no this is not a filler chapter

this chapter is sort of a build up and god Seth is all sappy and  romancie SPOILER!!!!!!!

and I know I don't usually do a authors note at the start but it was just a heads up and I hope you enjoy

Seth pov

I walked away

She looked so hurt. So fragile

But it is her own fault for coming back

But didn’t Jake say it was a vampire? What if Leah is working with one?

These questions swirled in my mind; I didn’t want anyone to hurt Chloe.

My Chloe

It sounds so right. My Chloe. It rolls just off the tongue, so natural and I love it

I’m starting to sound like Jake and Nessie

I don’t like the lovey dove shit, I like it natural, argue like husband and wife, laugh like best friends and stand by each other like brother and sister. And that is how it has been

‘Stand by each other like brother and sister’

I can’t just walk away from Leah now? After that. What if I can get Sam to give her another chance at life?

Chloe pov

I had not seen Seth since he told me he had to meet Jacob. No-one from the pack had come round, not even Jake, so I had no news of what could have happened.

I tried keeping my texting of everyone who could possibly know where Seth is to a minimum but hey, I am a worried girlfriend here

Hmm, Girlfriend, I like it. Seth’s Girl. Ha I love it.

I saw a blur go past the window and I snapped my neck to the side to catch them but they were nowhere in sight. I saw the blur again on my left and I knew it was another Vampire. What if it was the same one that broke into my room?

I walked outside. I am not one to pick a fight but I want answers, I was all alone because people went hunting so I thought why not?

Everything was quiet for the time being until I turned to go back inside. There stood a woman with jet black hair and golden eyes. She must feed off of animals to.

“Be careful of where you go next young one, be careful on who you trust to join your journey and be careful on who you take with you” and she was gone

where was I going next? Italy maybe?

I don't know many supernatural to have to trust more than who is already in my inner circle

but why might I have to be careful for who I take? It isn't like Bella is going to be coming along with me any time soon for any sort of road trip

but then I thought, it obviously wasn't her that got into my room

I went to follow the strange women who had given me a prophecy or riddle  

I hate riddles

But I came face to face with another woman. She had the same appearance. Maybe she was a twin

“I see you have met my sister Syrina. She has told you what she has seen, but I am here for another reason and I know it is you and not your sister Nessie. I have been studying your scent for weeks” and my world went black as she snapped my neck.

Seth

I had checked my phone and saw the many panicky text messages off of Chloe. Maybe someone should have told her what happened

I left Leah alone, I needed time to think, choose where my life lies.

I walked and walked and waked not once changing into a wolf and I found myself on Chloe’s doorstep with no-one in but the door wide open

Charging through the house I tried picking up and anything telling me where Chloe could be, I found one that led to the front door from where I walked in but then it splits into three.

Someone has my Chloe.

I followed after the second scent because It has the most amount of Chloe’s aura around it. It led me to the main road where it stopped. They must have got into a car and drove at top speed to lose all of their traces

What will I do now?

My heart feels heavy and my limbs feel heavy. I gotta get back to the Cullen’s home now

Why it is always me and Chloe? is someone testing us? Or do they think it’s fucking funny? Because I am about to seriously lose it and flip a table.

As I walked back through the Cullen threshold I saw everyone smiling and chatting to one another

They all froze what they were saying or thinking when they saw me and my expression

“Seth, what’s wrong?” Nessie asked me, her innocence shining as she looked at me curiously

“Leaving Chloe alone in this house is a mistake…………..and now I can’t find her” I was about to cry, everyone heard it as my voice cracked

“Seth spit it out” Emmet was angry, I knew Chloe was his world along with Rosalie

“While you were out two people came to visit. Different times from how the scents have faded but the second person who came along…………… ended up with more of Chloe’s aura with her. And I tried all I could to track the scents but they got in a car on the main road and sped away” I could feel myself shaking as I stood, my legs about to give way “she is gone and I am sorry, I should have got here quicker”

And I fell to the floor hanging my head low

I failed

I should have ran to her side

I should have text her back

“I can’t find her either” Alice said quietly

“The woman who has Chloe must be working behind some other wolves then” Edward said frowning

“Frown any longer Eddie and those lines are gonna be permanent” I tried lightening the air but it just did not work

“God you even sound like her now” Nessie said sitting next to me and chuckling slightly

“We are going to get her back though. I promise” I said looking at everyone in the room “even if it kills me in the end, I will search all of America for her, go on any plane or ship to get to the other side of the world” my voice started to grow stronger during my speech “we just have to stay strong for her, because we are her only hope now” and I stood up and left for her room

My Chloe. Gone. Vanished. Slipped through my fingers.
