Chapter 6

Rin's POV

It has been many hours since amaimon and I have come to Assiah. We are at the gaming centre, so far I'm winning, one more win to make it one hundred wins for me.

"Ahaha yes I win, beat that 100 wins" I yell at amaimon, but I see everyone looking at me, it's not like I care.

"It was just luck" amaimon replies

"What!? You just don't want to admit that I have won" I say back

"No that's not it, we just picked a game that you are good at" amaimon says back

"What I've seen you play this game before but if it makes you feel better why don't you pick a game" I say back, i really don't want him sulking.

"Fine" amaimon says looking around to find a new game "how about that one" he points to one near the entrance

"Fine with me" I say walking up to it and taking a seat, amaimon doing the same

"Here we go" we both say together right before a hear someone I haven't seen for so long

"R-rin"

Yukio's POV

Me and the exwires have been walking a while but now we finally made it to town, we have to look for an abandoned warehouse, that's where the demons are. As we were making our way through the streets, I heard a voice I haven't heard in a year. I look towards the game centre the exwires do the same, looks like they recognised the voice too.

I was shocked at what I saw, rin fighting with amaimon, our enemy but it wasn't an actual fight but a fight where they were just mucking around like how me and rin used to do.

"R-rin" I stutter, making both rin and amaimon freeze. They both turn their heads towards me.

"Y-yukio is that you?" Rin asked but I could tell he already new

"I've been looking for you everywhere" I say and ran up to him and hugged him, he didn't return the hug, rin just stood there while I hugged him.

"Where have you been?" I asked him

" ah... Gehenna" rin says

"They didn't do anything bad to you did they?" I asked, they took my brother away from me, they have to pay even if rin left willingly

"Ah... No it was great, I'm fine but what are you doing here?" Rin asks

"Just a missions, there are demons here in town" I say

"I though I was feeling them here" amaimon finally speaks

"Yeah but there presence is weak, they couldn't do any harm" Rin says facing amaimon

"That's true, but that means we don't have to deal with them, we have exorcist here to do the job" amaimon says pointing to me and the others

"That's true but we should go, after this encounter I don't feel like playing games" Rin says talking to amaimon

"Arg fine but we do get a do over, I'm not ever losing to you again" amaimon says back to rin. Rin nods his head then both start to Walk out

"Wait you can't go" I say to rin and grab his arm. He then grabs my other hand and then flips me, I land on my back, completely stunned that rin managed to flip me.

"Ah I'm so sorry yukio, it's a reflex now" Rin says picking me up from the ground

"Nah don't worry about it, I see you have trained" I said rubbing my back with my hand

"Yes I had to get stronger, Satan couldn't have a weak son" I say truthfully

Finally one of the exwires decided to speak up

"Did you really side with the demons? what happened to becoming an exorcist?" Yelled Bon

"Well like you said before, how can a demon let alone the son of Satan become an exorcist, I mean seriously there are others just like me who were half human half demon that are exorcist but I guess it just because I'm the son of Satan it doesn't apply to me" Rin yells back at Bon

"Look rin I'm sure he doesn't mean it that way" said shima trying to stop this fight that would most likely happen soon in an all out brawl.

"No you guys have no idea what it is like being called a demon most of your life even when I was a kid they kept calling me a demon or monster I couldn't even make friends, I mean seriously I didn't even no I was half demon until a day before I became an exorcist" there was a pause before rin continued " come on amaimon lets go" rin and amaimon try to leave for the second time but I won't let them.

"Look rin you can't go, I've missed you, why don't we catch up" I ask hopefully, 'I can't loose rin again'

"Look... we can't, I'm on the side of the demons and you on the exorcist side, it won't work, we're enemies" rin says to me

Before I had the chance to reply there was a huge RAWR sound coming from the mountains, where me and the ex-wires were supposed to go and exorcise a demon

"Wow that was loud" said sheima 

"Yeah no kidding" replied Bon

"W-wha we have to go towards that thing that made that sound" said konekomaru

"Where else?, it's our job to exorcise demons" said izumo

"E- even ones that make that terrifying sound" stuttered shima

"Look stop with the talking we have to go, when we get there and it looks like we can't handle it, I'll call for back up, got it, now let's go" I say to the group then turn back to look at rin who seems to be in a deep conversation with amaimon.

"How can this happen, before it was just a small group of weak demons, so tell me brother how can an S rank demon appear out of nowhere" rin practically shouts at amaimon, I try to ignore that my own brother just called amaimon brother

"I have no idea brother but we should go to stop it" amaimon says to rin

"Of course it's our job from father to do so" rin say back to amaimon who in turn nods

"Well... ah... it's been interesting catching up with you yukio but we have to go" rin says pointing to both him and amaimon. Before I could say anything rin had already ran off with amaimon

"Ah ok guys lets not waste time, now come on" I say to the group, we end up running the same route my brother just took.

Me and the group finally make it to where the sound came from only to see rin, sword in hand pointing it at the big demon, but what shocked me was that the sword in his hands was unsealed but no blue flames were surrounding his body.

'What happened to rin this one year that he is able to control his Flames' i thought, even the other ex-wires were shocked.

So I just want to say sorry that it's been so long, you don't know how much work I've been given since I started doing my new course to study, it makes me feel stressed, so I guess I do have a reason as to why I haven't updated but you should be happy now
