CHAPTER FIFTY-TWO ;
"Maybe I got fired my ass." Kasey mumbled as she scrolled through the article Just Jared wrote about her and her 'rudeness to fans'
She wasn't rude to her fans. She didn't ignore them either. She simply told them she wasn't feeling well at the moment, and they accepted that.
Kasey threw her phone down onto her lap, closed her eyes and sighed.
Suddenly, her phone started to ring, she looked down and saw Chris was trying to FaceTime her, so she reached into her bag, grabbed her headphones, and answered the call.
"Hello?" Kasey said as soon as Chris' face popped up
"Hey! Where are you?" He asked
Kasey sighed, "On a plane."
Chris' eyes widened, "Why the hell are you on a plane?!"
"What she's on a plane?" A voice from the background said
"Who's on a plane?" Another responded
"Kasey!" Chris said to the two voices
Soon Elizabeth and Anthony's face popped up on screen
"Why are you on a plane?!" Elizabeth asked
Kasey gave them a small smile, "I'm visiting my mum."
"But there's filming!" Anthony replied
"My parents are getting a divorce. My mum needs me right now."
Their faces dropped
"Kasey-"
Kasey shook her head, "No. It's not your fault."
They gave her a sad look
"But hey! I'll be back soon I promise!" She gave them a reassuring smile
"Do the Russo's know?" Elizabeth asked
Kasey laughed, "Of course! I don't wanna lose my job!"
Anthony laughed, "Well we'll see you soon kiddo"
"Oh I'll be flying back home for Christmas, is it alright if I stop by?" Chris asked
"Of course! Mum would love to meet you!" Kasey smiled
"Cool. Okay, we gotta g- Oh hey Sebastian." Elizabeth smile faded
"Hey who are you talking to?" He asked, moving towards his three friends
"Kasey," Anthony replied
Kasey sighed and glared at Anthony, who mouthed 'sorry' and gave her an apologetic smile.
"Oh," Sebastian said as he came into Kasey's view
"Look I've gotta go. Bye guys." Kasey quickly ended the chat then threw her phone into her bag
"Ex-boyfriend?" A voice next to Kasey said
Kasey looked over, "Something like that." She laughed
The woman who was sitting next to her laughed "I'm Lauren." She held out his hand for her to shake
She smiled then shook her hand, "Kasey"
"Oh, I know." Lauren smiled
Kasey raised her eyebrow, "Oh?"
"You're Kasey Middleton. You're playing Captain Marvel. I'm a huge fan." She blushed
Kasey smiled, "It's nice to meet you, Laura."
"It's nice to meet you too! And um that guy, was that Sebastian Stan? I don't mean to be nosy." Lauren blushed again
"No, it's alright. But yeah it was. I'm guessing you read the article?" Kasey asked
"Yeah. I was actually really disappointed in him." Lauren frowned
Kasey nodded her head in agreement, "Me too."
"Oh, and thank you by the way." Laura smiled
"For?" Kasey asked
"For following me on twitter. I was the one who commented on your tweet back in July." Lauren pulled out her phone and showed Kasey the tweet
It was the tweet where both Kasey and Anthony followed the user who told Anthony about the article.
"That was you?" Kasey smiled "Well then I should be thanking you!"
Lauren smiled, "Okay. Tell me about this whole Sebastian thing." She thought for a moment "Wow that came out wrong. I'm sorry. I mean tell me if you want too."
Kasey laughed, "Its okay. I actually need to have a little rant."
Lauren sent Kasey a big smile
"Okay so..."
And that's when the rant began.
