This is a poem dedicated to the victims of the recent earthquake in HAITI. Hope everyone would pray for the wellness and the safety and soon the help that the people had been waiting after such tragic calamity.
DEAR FRIEND
Dear friend
I am writing this letter
Hoping that you could find time
To listen to these words of mine
A side of the world cries for help
For there are people dying
From hunger and thirst
There had been a disaster at its worst.
Can you find it in your heart?
As thousands of our brothers and sisters
Are suffering in their small land
All they needed is a helping hand.
Dear friend of mine
Open your eyes and see
That with this unexpected disaster
A single prayer is enough that you can offer.
