I'm so so so excited to tell you (for those of you that haven't been following me and don't already know) that FIGHTING TO BE FREE, and the sequel which will be titled WORTH FIGHTING FOR, are being published by Hachette!!!!!
Fighting to be Free will be published on 6th September 2016!! :D :D *insert happy dance here*
The sequel Worth Fighting For is already deep into the publishing process and will be out on 6th December 2016, just three months after book 1.
I can't wait for you guys to read it - it's been a long time in the making. Both books took me over two years each to get to the point where they were exactly what I wanted them to be, so it seems like this is a long time coming. But it's going to be like a dream come true to be able to walk into a shop and see a copy of my books there - so I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to anyone that read the completed story while it's been up here these last three or four years. Your support, encouragement and feedback has been amazing, and has helped me shape Jamie and Ellie's story into the newly revised version that will be published hitting shelves in September.
The published version of Fighting to be Free has gone through significant edits and has brand new content that has never been seen before.... (including an extended epilogue!) and the cover!! WOW!! The team at Hachette have knocked it out of the park with both covers, they're simply perfect. I've added the FTBF one here as the Wattpad cover, so those that haven't seen it can cop a look at the gorgeousness too! What do you guys think.... Jamie Cole or what???? *happy sigh*
Where can you buy it? If you want to grab a copy, both books are currently up for pre-order in most places (i.e. Amazon Kindle, iBooks, Kobo, Nook etc) and the paperbacks will be in stores near you on release!
Translations: I'm also thrilled to say that the German, Italian, Polish, Brazilian and Turkish rights have also been sold to various publishers, so it'll be translated and sold in those countries too!! Jamie and Ellie are going on a little tour, it seems LOL. :D :D :D
Again, thank you SO much to everyone that took the time to read Jamie and Ellie's story while it was home here on Wattpad. I'm sorry the book has to be removed, but it was up here for free for over three years so I hope you guys got the chance to read it then before it was published. You guys got a little sneak peek at the book before the rest of the world did. hehe
