Your website is your home base. It's your hub for all your online activity.

1. You. On top of every page, it should say who you are.

2. Your services. All services with a link to buying them.

3. An about page. This is your connection to your customers. Tailor it

to the needs of your customers.

4. A way to connect: a contact form, phone number, adress, media

links. An online contact should be simple, not one that demands your

life history.

5. A call to action. Every page should encourage your reader to do

something: buy a service, follow on twitter, read something.

6. A mailing list, one that only requires a name and e-mail address.

Ideally, use a double opt-in. Offer something as an incentive to join

the mailing list/newsletter.

Good providers of mailing lists are constantcontact.com,

mailchimp.com. aweber.com

7. Easy navagation

8 easily updateable by you.

9. SEO (Search Engline Optimisation) requires - unique and dynamic

content, - lots of backlinks (other websites linking to yours)  - good

onpage content, with titles in bold, effective title tags, images with

names and alternative text.

10. A blog. Links to social media (facebook, Twitter, etc)

Have a marketing strategy. Know your target audience. Listen and

engage with people in the media in a position to influence people in

your direction.
