A Different Me Poetry

Sad Song

I don't want to sit around and write another sad song.

My heart is strong.

I've cherished everything I have to lose,

Including you.

It's time for happiness,

Time for bliss.

My heart is yours,

But it's mine too.

I'll take care of it.

And so-

So I won't sit around and write another sad song.

I'll write one for me,

But it'll be filled with glee.

I'm okay now and I always will be.

I'm not a sad song but I am a song meant for me.
