At the Funeral

THE NEXT MORNING 

TEALA POV

My mom and dad came to pick me up to go to the service this afternoon. We were driving for about 2 hours. My parents tried to start a conversation but it wasn’t working. I still wanted to go back home with Roc and everyone else

Dad: we’re here.

I get out the car to see a very boring and dull looking funeral home. I walk in and see a bunch of people that are about half people I know and half I don’t. Then a bunch of people startes to come up to me.

Family member: sorry for your lost. She was a good girl

Teala: yea I’m gonna miss her.

Fm: how are you holding up?

teala: I’m doing good with the support of my friends and all you guys.

Fm: smiles well keep ur head something good wi happen for you.

Teala: smiles I will

her family member walks away and a boy that likes Teala comes up to her

Boy: hey smiles

Teala: hey adam

Adam: so how you doing?

Teala: fine

Adam: U know what would make you feel better?

Teala: wat would that be.

Adam: an all expenses paid date with the suave, devilishly fine looking Adam Lavigne.

Teala:…no

Adam: why not. Look at me he turns around in a circle showing off his body

Teala thoughts: well I gotta admit that he has a nice body on him. Wait-

Teala: uhm the service is starting.

Adam goes to his seat and Teala takes her seat in the front row by her parents. For the first time she saw her sister in the coffin at the front of the room. The pastor came up to the stage and started to talk about her sister. In the middle of the service Teala starts to remember all the memories that her and her sister had. She starts to tear up but tries to hold it back because she doesn’t want anyone to see her cry but it comes anyway so she leaves out the place and goes to the backyard sits on a bench and cries. Adam comes up to her sits down and sge cries into his chest.

Teala: *crying I miss her so much

Adam: we all do.

she cries into his chest for a while then stops and pulls away from him

Teala: sorry giggles im getting tear stains all over your shirt

Adam: laughs a lil its okay.

Teala: thank you for being there for me.

Adam leans in and kisses her and teala kisses back

Teala’s thoughts: OMG wat am I doing?! This is wrong. I love Roc..don’t I?

she deepens the kiss

Teala’s thoughts: this feels right…I feel something with Adam that I don’t feel with Roc.. maybe I don’t love him after all…

Adam: pulls away wow…

Teala: that was…something

Adam: yes it was

Teala: is that date still on the table?

Adam: smiles

Sooo sorry I could write but I had homework..OVER MY BREAK!! I was so pissed off but I didn’t think it would take as long as it. So I’m sorry and I’ll try to actually write when I have nothing to do.
