This is one of my favorite stories. Na-enjoy ko talaga ang pag-basa sa bawat chapter, yung tipong wala akong ginustong i-skip. So worth the read.
Good points:
Nice plot- especially sa ‘bukuhan’ part, na-feel ko yung excitement at kaba. Hindi ito yung madalas kong nababasa, a breath of fresh air ba.
Attention catcher ang title- mapapa-isip ka kung bakit ‘yun ang pamagat, then you just have to agree and say ‘ahh..kaya pala’
Not much emoticons- hindi naman sa against ako sa emoticons pero mas formal kasi kung wala and the description of emotions was good that you don’t need emoticons para ma-figure-out ang ibinibigay na feel ni author.
Riley’s/Jared’s POV- na-gustuhan ko ang pagna-narrate nila yung iba kasi parang bakla ang character kung mag-kwento. Si Riley, hindi man ganun kahahaba ang POV’s nya mas manly naman ang dating.
Flaws:
Hnidi naniwala si Riley kahit umamin na si Muriel na hindi siya si Sam, hindi nga iyon normal at hindi agad mai-isip ng isang tao na may pagpapanggap na nangyayari but he should have analyzed it specially with the tell-tale signs that he noticed.
Unexpected switch from 1st to 3rd person’s POV.
‘Lakad Lakad Lakad’/Kapa kapa kapa’- dalawa sa napansing kong sumingit na informal way of narration.
Sa first quarter, parang may nawawalang eksena kasi parang bigla nakikipag-kulitan at sweet na si Riley kay Muriel. Hindi na katulad ng unang pagkikita nila na pinapalayas nya si Muriel.
ITO ang tipo ng nobela na maitutulad sa PHR pocket-book, it deserves the 3million reads.
Highly recommended, I’m giving it a 9.
