Kakuzu: NarutoxHinata does not own Naruto or any of the characters, Hidan, why the f**k did you tip the pizza guy

Hidan: What? he got the pizza on time 

Kakuzu: Don't you f**king dare tip the pizza guy

Chapter 9: Questions And More Questions 

I wanted to see Dei, and at the same time I didn't.

I'm not sure what I would say to him, or what he would believe, I get that Sasori's mad, he should be, but he shouldn't have gone so far. 

As I walked down the same familiar corridors, my mind raced into thoughts, trying to think of some way to explain the situation to Deidara. 

To my left, the door to a room was wide open, I saw Konan in there, looking for her Akatsuki robe, she glanced at me vaguely

"Uchiha girl, you can move in with Itachi this time, I heard you had some problems with Deidara and Sasori?" 

Wow news travels fast around here. 

"Uh, yeah well, I um, had some sleeping problems with Sasori" I lied, but to be honest I did have trouble sleeping in the same room as Sasori ever since he had kissed me.

As if remembering his touch, my finger tips went straight to my lips

Now I'll be darn right lying if I said that it wasn't a good kiss, really, but is it my fault that I'm not needed by anyone and wanted some affection?

"There's a hamper of clothes in my closet, just take it and go, you better get my clothes back before I finish off here" She said with a cold look in her eyes, I just nodded and got the clothes from her closet

Konan just gave me a look, which said Clear off 

I did just that, cleared off, to start on with my chores, lately, I've tried not spending time with Sasori, avoiding him, so I cleared my mind off by doing chores or cleaning as much as I hate it, but it takes my mind off of other things

Carrying the hamper of robes and other clothing, I entered the steam filled bathroom to start off with scrubbing the clothes, the smell of various scents filled the air, Jasmine, Irises and Lavender, it was soothing, just what the marble bath looked like. 

I really have to get back to work 

Pulling away from the sweet scent, I mulled over the clothes, picking each one out and scrubbing them at a corner of the enormous bathroom until my hands ached.

"Am I wrong, but are you violating my only spare time?" 

I looked up from my scrubbing to see Itachi only draped in a towel that was way too loose, untying his long hair which fell over his shoulder

I instantly looked away "Um, I'm sorry, I should leave, I'll just come back late--' 

"By all means stay, Konan will put you through hell if you don't finish all that" He said, with a slight smirk.

Geez what is up with good looking guys here? And why the hell is he smirking?

And true Konan would make me into mince meat and toss me off a tower, but let me tell you, I find it worse, sitting here and just ogling at Itachi taking a bath. 

Before I could say anything, he walked back to the marble steam filled bath, good thing the bath was covered in steam, I didn't want to see anything unnecessary, if you know what I mean.

I only heard the sound of water, falling into the bath from an opening in the wall, it sounded like a waterfall though, except it made much less sound than a normal one, I just continued scrubbing clean Konan's clothes. 

"You look tense" I heard Itachi's voice say 

At this point, I had no idea what to say to him, I didn't look at him though, but I could feel his eyes on me

"Yeah, I guess you already heard about Sasori and Deidara" I said, trying to be as vague as possible 

"Hm, only small parts of it though, what actually happened?" 

"Just lots of things" I mumbled, but loud enough for him to hear, I didn't want to say anything too much, I just didn't want him to find out about Sasori, I had no idea why either

He seemed to understand that I didn't him knowing most of it. I just went with the flow, bringing out Konan's next piece of clothing to scrub clean

"That time when I left you with Sasori" He said, catching my attention "didn't you say something about him seeing you here?"

Oh God he remembers that? and way to go, thanks for reminding me of something so unpleasant.

"Um, yeah, but it was quite while ago" I said "I had to take a quick bath and I ran into him here" I said, briefing it out

He didn't say anything, I glanced up at him, looking back down again, his hair was over his shoulder, its tips meeting the water

"Are you close to Sasuke?" He asked, he closed his eyes, I relaxed once more

"No, not really, I wasn't close to anyone in the village, well except Naruto, he only told me his stories and I listened and we parted our ways at the end of each conversation" I said, pausing "why do you ask?" 

"No particular reason" 

"I know he's your brother though" I said

"I don't understand though" He said, looking confused

"Understand what?" I asked

"If he knew you were from the Uchiha clan as well, he would've tried getting to know you somehow, Sasuke has been looking for someone from his clan, or he has looked, hasn't he? and you're right there in front of him" 

I laughed a little "I'm not the easiest person to talk to, trust me, I don't blame him" 

"But you talk to us easily, why is that?" He asked, moving his head to the side

"I don't know" I just replied instantly.

He just smiled coyly, looking smug for some reason, how I wanted him to stop doing that, it made my heart rate go up to a thousand beats per minute.

Finally I seemed to have finished with my washing, I somewhat felt relieved when I left the bath with Konan's clothes, I dropped them off in her room and headed back to Sasori's hoping he wasn't there.

He was. Just my luck 

"You're leaving today aren't you?" Sasori said in his usual cold voice

I replied with a simple 'yeah' 

"Did you speak to Dei?" He asked 

"No"

"Are you avoiding him?" 

I hesitated "No, not really, I just can't seem to find him anywhere" 

"You should talk things out with him"

"Why are you so suddenly concerned, weren't you the one who started all of this?" I asked, heatedly 

"No, I think he's avoiding you" Sasori said simply 

"Well, what do you expect me to say to him? I don't always get confessed to by guys, that never happens to me, I don't know how to deal with this" I said, venting off my anger on him 

"Well, do you like Deidara?" He asked, looking at me now

Sorry for updating so late, I was having a terrible cold and lots of weakness D: but I'm alright now and you can expect faster uploads :)
