She stares at him with adoration in her eyes
batting her eyelashes.
She tries to get his attention
he seems oblivious as time flashes.
Life long friends
they've known each other since three.
Each secrets in their memory
they have never told, not even a flea.
He, strong and handsome
Her, gorgeous and cute
waiting to confess her feelings
but she only stays mute.
Breaks her heart as she sees
him hand-in-hand with another who's name is Pearl.
Runs off away, tears already falling
and she thinks, 'what a lucky girl.'
